Here is what we’re doing to keep everyone safe.

Before you arrive

Our policies prohibit the following workers and guests from entering our premises:

  • Anyone who is currently or has within 14 days experienced symptoms of COVID-19

  • Anyone who has traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days

  • Anyone who has been identified by Public Health as a close contact of someone who has recently tested positive with COVID-19

  • Anyone who has been told to isolate by Public Health

 

When you’re here

Hygiene & Respiratory Etiquette & Sanitization

  • Hand Sanitizer will be available at Oh Boy Productions. Please sanitize your hands upon arrival and repeat occasionally during your visit. 

  • Masks should be worn at all times by everyone who is not currently on-camera. Persons on-camera during production are not required to wear their masks while the cameras are rolling. 

  • Both the nose and mouth should be covered when coughing or sneezing. Use a tissue or cough or sneeze into your elbow, not your hands. Wash or sanitize hands right away after coughing or sneezing.

  • Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. Disinfecting wipes and sprays will be used by Oh Boy Productions crew prior to your arrival to cleanse doorknobs, chairs, mics and all high-touch surfaces. We’ll repeat as necessary based on frequency of handling.

 

Let’s (not) get physical

Physical Distancing:

  • Please consider whether or not your physical attendance is necessary to the production/event. In an effort to avoid crowding we ask that observers who are not directly involved in the production of our videos and/or live events, please consider attending virtually or not at all. 

  • Avoid crowding and maintain 2 metres of physical distancing whenever possible. 

  • In the Studio, 

    • On-camera speakers are limited to maintain physical distancing. Check with an Oh Boy employee to see how many we can accommodate based on your production’s setup. Spacing between speakers will be pre-set and marked by our studio crew prior to your arrival.

    • Supporting studio crew/persons such as the floor director, client producer, etc should again be limited to only those necessary and directly involved in the production

    • Observers not involved in the active production should locate themselves in the front lobby. A live video feed from the studio will play on the lobby TV so that you can watch the production from there.
